Going back over old ground was getting me nowhere - I was not finding you in the backyards of mutual friends. (Someone mentioned they might have seen you earlier but they weren't sure if it was really you or just looked liked you.) Thinking you have purposefully left this vague trail to upset me, my eyes burn and I kick the sidewalk. Selfish little shit. How much we've been through, how much I've cared, how loyal I've been.

When she visited at Christmas, my sister said you seemed indifferent to me.
